The chance

Due to ongoing demand, we have an exciting prospect for a reliable and motivated Cable Assembler and Factory Hand to join our team focusing on the production line to ensure the factory meets production targets.

What does the job involve?
Assemble mechanical control cables following company quality standards.
Perform day-to-day factory operations as directed by supervisors.
Maintain a steady, efficient, and acceptable rate of production.
Keep your dedicated workspace neat, tidy, and safe.
Complete all assembly and warehouse duties in a timely manner.

What will make you the successful candidate?
Aptitude: Basic mechanical aptitude is highly preferred
Safety First:



Strong awareness of workshop safety and compliance
Attitude: A strong work ethic, a sense of humour, and a willingness to learn
Skills: Positive attention to detail with clear verbal and written English skills
Flexibility: Ability to handle multi-tasking and work independently when required
Licences: A current Forklift licence is a distinct advantage, but not essential

What hours of work are required?
This role will commence on a casual basis
Commencing at 2 days per week for 7 hours per day or as negotiated
Overtime / extra hours as required
