Heavy Diesel Plant Mechanic – Eastern & Northern Suburbs

Location: Eastern & Northern Suburbs, Melbourne VIC
$40–$50 per hour + Company Car

We are looking for experienced Heavy Plant Diesel Mechanic's to join our team.

This is a fantastic chance for a qualified and motivated Diesel Mechanic looking for stable, long-term employment, excellent pay and a company vehicle.

The Role

You will be responsible for servicing, repairing and maintaining a range of heavy plant, earthmoving and diesel equipment, ensuring machinery is safe, reliable and operating at its best.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, service and repair heavy plant and diesel machinery
Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
Complete breakdown repairs efficiently
Conduct inspections and identify potential issues
Maintain accurate service and repair records
Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard

About You
Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic




Previous experience with heavy plant, earthmoving or construction equipment
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Hydraulic and electrical fault-finding experience highly regarded
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong focus on safety and quality workmanship
Current Australian driver's licence
Reliable, professional and hardworking attitude
