Our client is a leading owner, operator and developer of residential communities, with a national portfolio of communities and more than 7,000 home sites. As the business continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced State Operations Manager to lead our Western Australian communities.

Reporting to the Head of Communities, you’ll provide hands-on leadership to our Village Managers, driving robust operational performance, commercial outcomes and an exceptional homeowner experience across the state.

About the role

This is a senior operational leadership role with a broad remit across people, community operations, financial performance, compliance, risk, change and stakeholder engagement. You’ll work closely with Village Managers and internal teams across Development, Sales, Marketing, Finance and People & Culture to turn business priorities into practical results.

You’ll be responsible for
Leading, coaching and developing Village Managers and building a high-performance culture.
Driving consistent operational, financial and service standards across communities.
Managing budgets, costs, procurement, capital works and commercial performance.




Supporting complex homeowner and stakeholder matters with professionalism and sound judgement.
Ensuring strong risk, compliance, WHS and governance practices.
Leading operational change and continuous improvement initiatives.

You’ll bring significant experience in multi-site operations, property, retirement living, land lease communities, hospitality, facilities management or a similar service environment. You’re a confident people leader with robust commercial acumen, sound financial judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple locations.

Most importantly, you’re practical, approachable and comfortable being visible on site. You know how to build trust, hold people accountable and get things done.

A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable, along with solid systems capability and a current driver’s licence.
