Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Australia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This position is essential for ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities:
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and other materials.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials using hand tools and power tools.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes.




Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects on time.
Maintain tools and equipment in positive working condition.
Assist in the training of apprentices and junior carpenters.

Qualifications:
Completion of a Carpentry apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
Proven experience as a Carpenter, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
Solid knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including the use of various tools and materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Solid communication and teamwork abilities.
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
