Role Description The Test Analyst / Junior Test Analyst is a full time, remote role focused on supporting the quality assurance of software and digital solutions used within the university’s environment. Day-to-day activities include planning and executing manual tests, documenting test results, reporting defects, and collaborating with development and project teams to ensure issues are understood and resolved.

The role involves analyzing requirements and specifications to design test cases, maintaining test documentation, and participating in test management activities such as prioritizing test efforts and tracking progress.

The Test

Analyst / Junior Test Analyst will work closely with senior testers and stakeholders, contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes and ensuring that systems meet functional and usability expectations for end users.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess solid Testing and Manual Testing skills to validate functionality, usability, and reliability of systems.




Candidates should possess solid Test Execution and Test Management abilities to run test cases, log results, and support planning and tracking of testing activities.
Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret requirements, identify issues, and propose explicit, evidence-based observations.
Basic understanding of software development lifecycles and quality assurance principles is beneficial.
Attention to detail, structured documentation skills, and the ability to follow established testing procedures are required.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment; ability to collaborate in remote and multicultural teams.
Entry-level experience or academic exposure to software testing, computer science, information systems, or a related field is desirable.
Willingness to learn, adapt to new tools and methodologies, and grow into more advanced testing responsibilities over time.
