We are now recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic qualified chef to join our team. Responsibilities include:
Performing all food preparation and cooking duties
Working across all sections of the kitchen including grills, pans, and fryers
Ensuring consistency and portion control is adhered to
Working in a rapid-paced environment
Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas using traditional Italian techniques and authentic wood fired pizza oven
Maintain high standard of kitchen hygiene to exceed food safety standards
General kitchen cleaning duties as required
Essential skills required:
Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (and/or higher)
Proven experience in a large high-volume commercial kitchen
Experience in a 5 star hotel is strongly preferred
Experience in food preparation and A La Carte service
What you’ll get:
Salary range $75k-$85k excluding public holidays plus 12% superannuation.
