Slipstream Brewing Co. is looking for a full-time Senior Chef to join our team in Yeerongpilly, Brisbane. This role is open to candidates with experience ranging from Chef de Partie through to Sous Chef level. Title and salary will be aligned with the successful applicant’s experience.

Our 300-seat Bar & Kitchen is the beating heart of our venue, with a menu of smoked meats, pizzas, and modern Australian dishes paired with award-winning craft beer. With indoor and outdoor dining, a kids’ play area, and a buzzing atmosphere, we’ve created a space where great food and great beer come together.

About the Role
Lead or support your section and assist in daily kitchen operations.
Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard of consistency and quality.
Work with the Head Chef to deliver a smooth and effective service.
Contribute to menu development, stock control, and food costing.
Uphold WHS and food safety standards at all times.
Mentor junior staff and help deliver outstanding food experiences for events.

About You
Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen.
Solid communication skills, calm under pressure.
Enthusiastic, adaptable, and passionate about positive food, beer,



and community.
For higher-level applicants: demonstrated leadership experience and a proven ability to develop and support kitchen teams.
Experience with an offset smoker and/or hand-stretched dough and stone or wood-fired pizza in a commercial setting is advantageous but not essential.
