KPI Labour Hire is seeking experienced Carpenters to join our growing team for ongoing projects across Queensland. . This is an excellent chance to secure ongoing work on EBA rates, working across a variety of major civil construction, utility and industrial projects. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality carpentry and formwork while maintaining the highest standards of safety, workmanship and teamwork.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Undertaking carpentry and formwork activities in accordance with project requirements.
n
Setting out, levelling and measuring from drawings and specifications.
n
Assembling and installing formwork panels, metal props, brackets and clamps.
n
Assisting with concrete pouring, screeding and finishing works.
n
Performing steel fixing, conduit laying and pipe laying activities as required.
n
Stripping, cleaning and stacking formwork for reuse.
n
Reading and interpreting drawings, plans and specifications.
n
Delivering work safely, on time and to a high standard of quality.
n
Maintaining compliance with site safety procedures and company policies.
n
Working collaboratively with supervisors, operators and construction crews.
n

What we're looking for
n
n
Qualified Carpenter with relevant trade qualifications.
n
Minimum 2 years' experience in carpentry, formwork or civil construction.
n
Demonstrated experience assembling and installing formwork systems.
n
Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
n
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
n
Ability to perform physically demanding manual labour.
n
Current Construction Induction (White Card).
n
Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements and best practices.
n
Willingness to work across various project locations throughout Victoria.
n
Experience in steel fixing, conduit laying or pipe laying is advantageous.
n
Experience working in civil construction settings is highly regarded.
n
Exposure to substations, terminal stations or data centre projects is highly regarded.
n
VESI training and plant equipment tickets are advantageous.
n
Willing to undergo a Medical and Police Check.
