Role Description The Reporter role is a contract, hybrid position based in Sydney, NSW, with a mix of in-office work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Reporter will gather information, conduct interviews, and produce clear, accurate news and feature content related to accounting, tax, and business advisory topics, including the NDIS and allied health sectors. Daily tasks include researching industry developments, attending relevant meetings or events, verifying facts, and preparing written and multimedia materials for internal and external communications channels.





The role involves collaborating with advisors and accountants to translate complex information into accessible reports, articles, and digital content that support clients and stakeholders. The Reporter will also help maintain editorial standards, meet deadlines, and ensure consistency with the firm’s brand and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
Strong Reporting and News Writing skills, with the ability to explain complex financial and regulatory topics clearly.
Excellent Communication and Writing abilities, including interviewing, drafting articles, and adapting content for different audiences.
Experience with Multimedia content (e.g., web, video, audio, social media) to present information in engaging formats.
Attention to detail, fact-checking capability, and commitment to accuracy and ethical journalism.
Relevant tertiary qualification in Journalism, Communications, Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Familiarity with accounting, tax, or business advisory topics and interest in the NDIS and allied health sectors is highly beneficial.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional professional teams in a hybrid workplace.
