Lead the development of cutting-edge engineered products from concept through to production.

We're looking for an experienced Product Development Engineer with deep expertise in plastic component design and injection moulding to mentor a growing engineering team developing complex manufactured products used across Australia and international markets.

The Opportunity

Take ownership of new product development programs, leading products from initial concept through CAD design, prototyping, testing, validation and production release.

Working alongside designers, manufacturing, sourcing and quality teams, you'll help deliver products that are innovative, robust, manufacturable and commercially successful.

You'll also mentor junior engineers while helping shape engineering best practice across the team.

The Role
Injection moulded plastic component design
Polymer selection and material performance
Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
Tooling development and supplier collaboration
Bringing products from concept through to production




CAD design (SolidWorks)
Product testing, validation and continuous improvement.

About You
Degree qualified in Engineering
Proven experience in product development or design engineering
Robust understanding of injection moulding and designing plastic components
Experience leading engineering projects through the complete product lifecycle
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A practical, hands-on approach to solving engineering problems.
Able to commit to an onsite role.
