Your duties will include:

n

Conduct weed control using manual, chemical, and biological methods
n
Identify and remove invasive plant species
n
Assist in revegetation projects by planting native species
n
Maintain and monitor the health of regenerating bushland
n
Conduct flora and fauna surveys to assess biodiversity
n




Restore and protect sensitive ecosystems such as wetlands and coastal areas
n
Implement erosion control measures
n
Monitor and report on environmental changes and project outcomes
n
Use hand tools, herbicides, and machinery (e.g., brush cutters, sprayers)
n
Follow environmental legislation and local council guidelines
n
Ensure protected work practices, including chemical handling and PPE use
n
Maintain records of work completed and herbicide used
n

To be successful in this role, you might have:

n

n
A Current Drivers' licence and own transport
n
National Police Check
n
White Card (required or willing to obtain)
n
Experience in bush regeneration or a related field
n
Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management or Bachelors (Highly Desirable)
