Role Description This is a full-time role based in Sydney, NSW. The R&D; Tax Incentive Skilled – Graduate/Consultant will support clients in identifying eligible R&D; activities and compiling robust documentation for R&D; Tax Incentive claims. Daily tasks include conducting technical and financial research, analysing project information, and interviewing client stakeholders to understand their R&D; projects.
The role involves drafting clear, accurate reports and claim narratives, coordinating supporting evidence, and assisting with R&D; applications. The professional will collaborate with Managers, attend client meetings,
and contribute to internal process improvements and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Research and Development (R&D;) and Research, with the ability to understand and document technical projects across diverse industries.
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, including critical thinking, data interpretation, and attention to detail when assessing eligibility and compiling claims.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including transparent written communication for reports and claims, and confident verbal communication for client discussions.
Relevant tertiary qualification in science, engineering, technology, finance, accounting, or a related discipline. Work experience will be valued, but is not a prerequisite.
Ability to work collaboratively in a consulting workplace and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Proficiency with common office software tools.
Interest in tax incentives and innovation policy; prior exposure to R&D; tax or consulting is advantageous but not essential.
