We are looking for friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistants to join our team at Upwey Amcal Pharmacy. We have opportunities available for both full-time and part-time team members.

About the Role

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be involved in the day-to-day running of the pharmacy and providing excellent service to our customers.

Your responsibilities will include
Providing friendly and professional customer service
Assisting customers with pharmacy and retail products
Processing sales and operating the point-of-sale system
Receiving, unpacking and putting away stock
Stock control, ordering and maintaining stock levels
Merchandising and maintaining pharmacy displays
Checking and rotating stock and monitoring expiry dates
Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming pharmacy
Assisting pharmacists and other team members with general pharmacy duties





About You

We are looking for someone who is:
Friendly, approachable and confident with customers
Reliable, punctual and well organised
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Comfortable working in a busy environment
Willing to learn and take initiative
Professional and well presented
Available for either full-time or part-time work

Previous community pharmacy or retail experience is preferred, but not essential. Training can be provided to the right candidate. Experience with pharmacy products, S2/S3 medicines or pharmacy point-of-sale systems will be highly regarded.
