Silverstone is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitter to cater to our clients' requirements in the thriving WA mining and resources sector. This prospect will commence on contract, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position.

Duties:
Conducting maintenance, service, repairs and troubleshooting on a range of Fixed Plant equipment.
Maintenance, repair, and overhaul of: Crushers, screens, and conveyors, Pumps, motors, and gearboxes, Chutes, feeders, and associated plant equipment
Assist with shutdowns, installations, and plant upgrades
Fault finding and rectification of mechanical issues
Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults to minimize downtime and ensure effective plant operations.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including inspections, lubrication,



and parts replacement.
Remove and replace worn or defective parts and maintain minimum required stock of spare parts.

Requirements
Previous Mine site experience in lithium, gold, or iron ore processing plants preferred
Robust fixed plant maintenance experience
Mechanical Trade Certificate
Current Driver’s License
Current National Police Clearance
Able to commence start of February
