ABOUT THE ROLE The Graduate Game Designer & Mathematician role is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to utilise their mathematics and creative skills to assist in the design and development of land-based slot games. You will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment alongside a talented team of mathematicians, artists, engineers and producers. Key Responsibilities
Build complex mathematical models which replicate player behaviour and game outcomes
Contribute toward new and creative game concepts
Assist the artistic and engineering teams to develop and implement exciting features
Utilise software packages and languages such as Python,
C++ & Unity to build simulations and implement game features
About You
The successful candidate should have:
An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or a similar maths-related field
A passion for gaming and an interest in creating games for a global audience
An appreciation of programming languages and tools such as Python, C++, R, MATLAB and Unity to build mathematical simulations and implement software features
A deep understanding of statistics, probability and gaming mathematics
The ability to research player habits and competitor performance to become an industry expert
