Accounts Clerk - Motor Vehicle Dealership

Scotts Group, Artarmon NSW is seeking an experienced 'Accounts Clerk' with a positive, can-do attitude to join our friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a reliable and supportive business.

Motor industry experience highly regarded

Day to day components of the role include:

Daily cash and cheque banking

General accounting duties and deal processing.

Bank reconciliations for bank accounts using DMS (Pentana ERA)

Update and maintain vendor database in a timely manner.

Ensure all weekly/monthly report deadlines are met on a timely basis.

General accounts reconciliations.

Weekly and monthly cash sales / debtors reporting (to Financial Controller)

Review outstanding accounts and following through to collection.

Daily monitoring and resolution of account queries - resolving vendors queries via phone/email.





Other ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Proficient in MS Office including MS Excel

Ability to work on Pentana ERA -DMS

Attention to detail and data entry skills.

Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounts receivable principles.

Ability to investigate customer queries.

Solid reconciliation & allocations experience.

Confident in and ability to communicate on all levels.

Ability to work in a team workplace with minimal supervision.

The ability to think on your feet and overcome problems.

A positive mindset and the ability to smile when the pressure is on.

Have the right to work in Australia with residency entitlement.
