Indigenous Managed Services (IMS) is seeking an experienced Crèche Team Leader for a casual opportunity at North Metropolitan TAFE's Northbridge Campus.

We are looking for an experienced early childhood professional who can confidently lead and support a team while remaining hands-on and actively involved in the day-to-day operation of the crèche.

To be considered for this position, you MUST hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) and have a minimum of 2 years' experience leading a team within an early childhood, childcare or crèche environment.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, support and provide day-to-day guidance to crèche educators
Maintain an active and visible presence within the crèche
Support the delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities
Ensure children are appropriately supervised and supported
Coordinate daily staffing and operational requirements
Build positive relationships with children, families and team members
Complete relevant administration and record keeping
Support staff induction and ongoing development
Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment
Ensure policies, procedures and WHS requirements are followed
Communicate effectively with management regarding staffing and operational matters

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:




Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years' demonstrated experience leading a team
Previous experience working in an early childhood, childcare or crèche workplace
Current Working with Children Check
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one
Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
Good organisational and administrative skills
Confidence managing day-to-day issues and supporting staff
A hands-on, collaborative approach to leadership

You will be a confident and approachable leader who enjoys supporting both children and educators. You will be comfortable balancing leadership and administrative responsibilities while remaining actively involved with the team.

This is a casual Northbridge-based opportunity and would suit an experienced Team Leader, Room Leader or senior early childhood educator looking for adaptable work within a professional crèche environment.
