We are seeking an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our well-equipped practices located in Yeppoon and Emu Park. This permanent part time role offers an opportunity to work alongside a team-oriented team of experienced nurses and general practitioners, delivering high-quality, patient-focused care in a supportive and inclusive setting. You will be required to work across both sites and provide relief for other nursing staff as necessary.
Key responsibilities
Administering immunisations and managing post-vaccine observations
Triage and prioritisation of emergency situations
Supporting GPs with minor surgical procedures
Maintaining accurate patient clinical data
Wound care, including dressings, suture removal, ear health and iron infusions
Providing patient education and coaching to support health outcomes
Contributing to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented practice culture
About you
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Immunisation experience preferred
Experience with Best Practice software
Previous experience in General Practice or an acute care setting
Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Hours can be negotiated with the successful candidate/s 18 – 36 hours per week being available. Applications close 11 th September 2026.
