YOUR ROLE

As a KEY part of this internationally acclaimed banking/finance team (being led and mentored by some of Australia’s top banking/finance partners), representing blue-chip clients (world leading financial institutions,corporate borrowers, lenders, syndicates, sponsors), you will love advising on:

1) intellectually stimulating sophisticated banking/finance transactions including multi-level/jurisdictional/international transactions including:
Corporate/leveraged/structured/trade/project, construction/ECA finance
management buy-outs, leveraged buy-outs, cross-border financing, opco/propco restructurings, inter-creditor arrangements and real estate investment; PLUS

2) compliance with the Banking Act and Prudential Standards, AML legislation, privacy, credit reporting and the PPSA.

WHO YOU ARE

We are interested in hearing from you if you:
have 2+ years PAE experience (up to Associate level) in banking/finance law with a 1st/2nd-tier firm or specialist boutique firm;
have solid research/technical legal skills+ a solid commercial acumen+ ability to provide practical relevant advice;
proven ability to manage client relationships;
are ambitious and want to be the best lawyer and holistic person you can be+ want to work with and be inspired by top passionate professionals.
