Your new role

We are seeking a Tester with experience in both manual and automation testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of cloud-based applications and data solutions. The role will involve test planning, execution, defect management, and collaboration with development and business teams in an AWS workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Design and execute manual and automated test cases for functional, integration, and system testing.
Validate business and technical requirements for AWS-hosted applications and services.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency.
Perform API, UI, and end-to-end testing across cloud-based applications.
Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to support quality delivery.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, test planning, and release activities.

Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in functional testing with a mix of manual and automation testing.




Experience testing applications and services hosted on AWS.
Hands-on experience with automation tools.
Experience with API testing tools.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, test methodologies, and defect life cycle management.
Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or other test management tools.
Robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

What you'll need to succeed
Knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native testing approaches.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience working in Agile environments.
AWS certification or relevant cloud testing experience.
