This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for a variety of welding, fabrication, repair and maintenance work to help keep the workshop and equipment operating safely and efficiently. You will work alongside the experienced workshop team and be involved in a range of tasks, so no two days will be exactly the same.
Key responsibilities
General welding and fabrication work
Repairs and maintenance of trailers, equipment and workshop items
MIG welding and metal fabrication
Cutting, grinding and preparing materials
Assisting with modifications and repair work
Reading and interpreting drawings and measurements
Maintaining a clean and safe work area
Supporting the wider workshop team with day-to-day operations
About you
Experienced and reliable Welder or Boilermaker
Takes pride in producing quality work
Solid attention to detail
Happy to get involved wherever required
Advantages
