Workfast is seeking experienced Plant Operators for an ongoing civil project located South of Rockhampton. We have multiple vacancies for operators highly experienced with GPS Dozers, GPS Excavators, Haul Trucks, Water Carts, and Rollers.
$44 - $47 / hr + penalties
Starting Mid-September
Ongoing Project (South of Rockhampton)

Join a motivated and supportive team working across a major civil project, ensuring protected and efficient daily earthworks and site operations.

What We're Looking For
Minimum 12 months' experience in civil earthworks or mining.
Demonstrated experience operating one or more of the following: GPS Dozers, GPS Excavators, Haul Trucks, Water Carts, or Rollers.
Must have a clean Police Record (essential site requirement).
Relevant RII competencies or nationally recognised tickets for your machine.
Strong safety focus, commitment to teamwork, and the ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Operate allocated plant machinery safely and efficiently (GPS Dozer, GPS Excavator, Haul Truck, Water Cart, or Roller).
Conduct civil works including GPS final trim/cut and fill, bulk earthworks,



compaction, haulage, and dust suppression.
Maintain haul roads and work areas to safe operating standards.
Complete pre-start checks, report defects, and ensure machinery is well maintained.
Follow all site safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
