Our client is a well-established Australian-owned engineering and manufacturing company servicing the mining and heavy industrial sectors.
The business provides specialised engineering, manufacturing, refurbishment and field-service solutions, with a strong reputation for quality, innovation and customer-focused solutions.
They are currently looking for a mechanically trade-qualified person who enjoys a hands-on role and is interested in a combination of workshop-based and field work, to be based from their Paget workshop.
The position will be approximately 80% workshop-based and 20% site-based, providing a valuable balance between working in the workshop and gaining exposure to field environments.
The successful applicant will have the following
Mechanical Trade Qualification
Current S11 and CBM
Versatile and adaptable work approach
Current Bowen Basin site inductions (preferred not essential)





The successful candidate will spend their first three months primarily becoming familiar with the product, processes and team before undertaking site work. Field work will be supported through working alongside an experienced team member initially.
This will be an immediate start for the right applicant - ongoing casual position, with the intention of transitioning to a permanent position following a successful probation period. It represents an excellent prospect for a mechanically trade-qualified person looking for a long-term role with a growing engineering business and the opportunity to develop their workshop and field-service experience.
