PHP / Laravel Developer - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Just Digital People are looking for an experienced PHP/Laravel Developer to join an established Australian not-for-profit organisation on a 12-month fixed term contract.
You'll be joining a team-oriented development team working on web applications and digital products that support organisations and communities across Australia. This is a outstanding opportunity for a developer who enjoys building quality software and wants to work on technology that has a genuine purpose behind it.
You'll be involved across the full development lifecycle, working alongside other developers and stakeholders to design, build, test and improve web-based solutions.

What you will ideally bring:
Strong commercial experience with PHP and Laravel
Solid experience with object-oriented PHP development
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Experience working with REST APIs, JSON and web services
Good understanding of SQL and relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL




Experience with Git and contemporary development practices
Exposure to Docker and Linux environments
Experience working within an Agile development team
An understanding of web accessibility and responsive web development
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
A genuine interest in using technology to create positive social impact
