Digga Australia specialise in the manufacturing of machinery attachments for the construction and earthmoving industry and have an exciting prospect for a Fitter & Turner Apprentice within our Machine Shop. The right candidate will be a mechanically minded person who enjoys hands-on work, solving technical problems, and learning from experienced tradespeople while working towards a nationally recognised qualification. If you enjoy figuring out how things work, are motivated and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty then we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Participate in on-the-job and onsite vocational training

Learn precision machining techniques
n
Use workshop tools, machinery and specialised equipment
n
Prepare raw materials for processing
n
Press (hand press) housings and other materials
n
Build skills that will set you up for a long term career in engineering
