To be considered for casual childcare positions, you will:

Hold a Diploma or Cert III of Early Childhood Education and Care or an equivalent recognized qualification.
n
Have a genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their learning, development and wellbeing.
n
Have experience working in an early childhood education and care setting and demonstrate an understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
n
Provide engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences through play-based learning and intentional teaching practices.
n
Create a secure, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, respected and supported.
n




Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
n
Support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development through responsive and purposeful interactions.
n
Have a sound understanding of child protection, health and safety, supervision and duty of care requirements.
n
Hold current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification, or be willing to obtain and maintain these certifications.
n
Maintain a high degree of professionalism, reliability and confidentiality.
n
Possess well-developed communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
n
Demonstrate a commitment to inclusive practices and the individual needs, interests and abilities of each child.
n
Work effectively as part of a team and be adaptable and adaptable in a casual relief capacity.
n
Support the Jewish and Zionist ethos of Moriah College.
