5 days - SUNDAY to THURSDAY fixed roster (every Friday & Saturday off!)

6.15am - 2.30pm shifts

Mornings / Days only - Keep your afternoons and evenings free!

About the ROLE:

n

Lead our small kitchen operation and take responsibility for the preparation, presentation and prompt service of our simple but delicious menu. Think lots of Bacon & Egg Rolls, Avocado Smash, Acai Bowls, Burgers, Toasties, Granola, etc.

n

Work with the Business Owner and Café Manager on the development of seasonal menu items.

n

Manage the ordering and stocking of our straightforward inventory.

n

Keep our kitchen clean and organised.

n

Play a leadership role with food safety and hygiene standards.

n

Support the training and supervision of junior kitchen assistants.

n

Outstanding payrates - Level 4 Award plus additional weekly allowances on offer.

Strong communicator with a positive disposition. This is very key!

n

Strong commercial kitchen experience (minimum 2 years).

n

Confident food prep and presentation skills.

n

Ablility to organise and set out a productive kitchen.

n

Experience working alongside and providing instruction to junior kitchen assistants.

n

Willingness to support other work areas within the business.

n

Safety-minded.

n

Good literacy skills (reading, writing, spelling).

n

Routine availability to work long weekends and the Christmas trading period.

n

Driver's licence and a reliable vehicle.

n
