An established and highly regarded Australian law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join its Insurance practice. This is an excellent prospect to become an integral part of a collaborative team while supporting a busy and well-established practice.

About the Role

Working closely with lawyers across the Insurance team, you will provide high-level legal and administrative support across a range of matters.

The Role:
Managing diaries, appointments and travel arrangements
Liaising with clients and other stakeholders
Preparing and formatting legal documentation
Opening and closing matters and maintaining accurate file records
Processing billing using Elite 3E
Maintaining electronic and hard-copy filing systems
Providing general administrative and ad-hoc support to the team

About You:

The successful candidate will have:




3+ years' experience in a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary in Litigation (Insurance or Commercial)
Strong client service and communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid attention to detail and organisational skills
The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Proficiency across Microsoft Office
A high level of confidentiality, professionalism and integrity
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
