The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant to join a leading Australian real estate investment group.
This role supports a high-performing finance team within a fast-growing, privately owned business.
The position offers broad exposure across fund accounting, reporting, and operational finance, with clear development and progression pathways.
The team has recently moved into a modern new office space in the Sydney CBD, offering a team-oriented and professional working environment.
The Challenge
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Support the Fund Finance team with the day-to-day accounting of managed funds
Prepare month-end journals, general ledger maintenance and bank reconciliations
Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with unit pricing calculations and reasonableness checks




Review month-end reports prepared by outsourced accountants
Assist with BAS preparation, fund distributions and quarterly investor reporting
Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements, tax returns and audit requirements
Respond to finance queries from internal and external stakeholders
Assist with fund and asset onboarding and offboarding
Contribute to the implementation of Yardi and the migration of data from externally managed accounting systems
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
Achieved or actively working towards being CA/CPA qualified
You have commenced your career within a Big 4 or Mid-Tier accounting firm and may have additional experience in the property industry of fund accounting
You have strong market knowledge of the property industry and financial services industry, seeking to grow in a highly varied and fast paced environment
High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem solving skills
