What We Are Looking For
We're seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead our Electrical Maintenance team within Water & Waste Services.
This key leadership role is responsible for coordinating the maintenance of critical water and wastewater infrastructure, ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of treatment plants, pump stations and associated assets across the Fraser Coast.
Leading a team of skilled tradespeople and apprentices, you will provide technical guidance, coordinate maintenance activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that support asset performance and essential services to our community.
What Your Day Will Look Like
Supervise and coordinate the Electrical Maintenance team, including apprentices and on‐call operations.
Deliver planned, reactive and minor capital maintenance works across water and wastewater assets.
Allocate resources and prioritise workloads to support efficient service delivery.
Maintain work orders, asset records and maintenance documentation.
Support budget management, expenditure monitoring and capital works planning.
Drive continuous improvement of maintenance programs, procedures and asset performance.
What You'll Need For Success
Electrical Trade Qualification (AQF Level III or higher).
Current Electrical Fitter / Electrical Mechanic Licence.
Current Queensland C Class Driver Licence.
General Construction Induction (White Card).
Demonstrated experience maintaining water and sewerage treatment plants, pump stations and associated infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of pumps, valves, electrical control systems, PLC/SCADA and telemetry systems.
Proven ability to supervise electrical trades personnel and provide technical leadership.
Experience with budgeting, expenditure monitoring, purchasing and financial administration.
Knowledge of asset management principles and preventative maintenance systems.

Instrumentation Trade Certificate.
Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Licence.
Confined Space Certificate.
