United Terminals Pty Ltd is seeking an experiencedNational Maintenance Coordinatorto join our Operations team at ourHastings Terminal.
United Terminals Pty Ltd operates and maintains Terminal operations at Hastings Terminal Victoria, Bell Bay Terminal Tasmania.
Mackay and Port Alma terminals in Queensland and is a subsidiary of United Petroleum Pty Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop and execute maintenance plans ensuring all MHF critical controls are maintained meeting all statutory and regulatory obligations.
Develop and implement a 10 yearly tank inspection program.
Training, coaching, and mentoring of both maintenance and operational staff in maintenance excellence.
Develop maintenance strategy for safety critical and business critical spare parts.
Monitor and maintain the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS).
Planning and scheduling of long term, short term, and shutdown plans for nominated Terminals.
This includes reviewing and developing job lists, parts requirements, labour estimates, reviewing and updating detailed work plans and schedules for each job.




Use the CMMS to input data, print out works orders, procedures and plans, and produce reports.
Ensure that all are complete and accurate.
Conduct reviews on Preventative Maintenance programs, make recommendations to optimise processes, work procedures, JHA's and track work performance against plans to ensure they meet business needs and that they reflect best in class maintenance and operating practices.
Review and monitor all compliance activities (vessel inspection, PSV testing & CFT) within the operational area, review CMMS backlog and liaise with Terminal Managers to ensure shutdowns meet statutory requirements.
Develop KPI reports.
Work with the terminal operations team to optimise performance against agreed KPI's
Report SMS Audit compliance and Safety Critical Control Measure compliance monthly.
Plan/procure/schedule parts or contract labour to meet plan schedules.
Co-ordinate and record all maintenance and critical spare parts for Aviation activities on site complying to the JIG standards.
e.g. filter elements.
Understand the aviation product quality requirements that may be impacted by maintenance activities and the tests and checks required.
Ensure maintenance checks and tests are completed in accordance with the EI **** requirements and records created as required.
Provide input into the monthly and weekly planning meetings.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
Mastery skill level in CMMS Preventive Maintenance Planning and Execution




Mastery Skill in planning maintenance ideally within Bulk fuels storage facilities, Gantry loading systems and/or Hydrocarbon Processing plants and equipment.
High level of understanding of electrical, fluid process control and measurement theory and concepts.
Strong understanding - mechanical knowledge of plant equipment/rotating machinery, pumps, valves, automated gantry systems and fire fighting systems
High level of understanding in interpreting Instrument/Electrical pneumatic loop drawings, PIDs and mechanical drawings.
High level of understanding of the JIG standards for Aviation maintenance
Solid interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate within all levels of the business.
Create and maintain good working relationships with multicultural team
ability to work independently with minimum direction.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Use initiative and be proactive in resolving issues
Experience with any of the following will be highly regarded:
Shore Officer qualifications
Working knowledge quality and assurance systems
Awareness MHF facilities and safety cases
High Level of technical knowledge and experience with the tools and techniques of maintenance planning.
