About the Role
As a truck delivery driver, you'll work closely with operators and offsiders to carry out day‐to‐day deliveries of materials to site. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, learning recent skills, and being part of a tight‐knit crew.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Drive Medium Rigid (MR) trucks to worksites to perform deliveries
Physical and repetitive labouring tasks
Load and unload trucks
Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
Adhere to road safety laws and fatigue management regulations
Requirements
Must hold a current MR truck licence - (MR Licence or equivalent such as HR)
Have a minimum of 12 month's proven on-road driving experience
Physically fit and able to safely lift over 16kg as part of daily manual handling
White Card (or willingness to obtain)
Comfortable working closely with an offsider and independently when required
Reliable transport to site for early starts (Public transport is not available)
Prior experience with deliveries, construction sites, or removalist work (advantageous but not mandatory)
Valid Forklift Licence (highly advantageous, not mandatory)
