We're looking for
Customer Service Officers / Lifeguards
to join our Latrobe Leisure team. In this role, you'll help create a safe, welcoming and enjoyable setting for our community by delivering excellent customer service and ensuring the safety of visitors using our leisure facilities.
This is a great chance to contribute to the health and wellbeing of the Latrobe City community while building valuable customer service, recreation and aquatic industry experience.

What You'll Be Doing
Supervise patrons using leisure facility and aquatic environments to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Maintain vigilant observation of pool activities and enforce facility rules and safety requirements.
Respond appropriately to emergency situations, including first aid and evacuation procedures.
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers via telephone and at the service counter.
Process memberships, bookings and attendance records using Council systems.
Maintain clean, tidy and welcoming facilities for all users.
About You
You are customer-focused, safety-conscious and enjoy working in a quick-paced community environment.



You bring strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. You enjoy engaging with people of all ages and can work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Key Selection Criteria
Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service and building positive relationships with community members.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment and communicate confidently with a diverse range of customers.
Experience with cash handling, computer systems and administrative tasks, with strong attention to detail.
Current Pool Lifeguard Qualification and Level 2 First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain both by Should we add a date in here. Monday 19th October
