A Bit About Us
Healius has an expansive network of over 100 medical laboratories and **** patient collection centres across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia. We provide 1 in every 3 pathology services in the country, servicing large hospitals and communities, including some Indigenous Australian communities. What You Will Be Doing




As a Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist), you will be collecting blood and coordinating specimen samples from patients, delivering great customer service and quality healthcare with empathy.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Collecting samples (blood and non-blood) with care and attention
Keeping meticulous records for every patient and sample
Delivering documentation within strict turnaround times
Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing
Liaising with customers, clinic staff and couriers
What Type of Person Will Be Successful
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Pathology Collector or have gained a Cert III and be looking to embark on your Pathology Collection career. You could also be a Registered Nurse seeking daytime shifts over weekends and overnights.
No experience in Pathology Collection but with a customer service focus and healthcare background? We can support you to grow a rewarding career as a Pathology Collector with fully paid training and mentoring. Bring the right attitude and interest and we will provide the rest.
These are the type of attributes & skills you would possess:
Experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy/Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a healthcare background
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy
Organised with strong time management and attention to detail




Ability to work autonomously, including solo clinic environments
Valid Driver's license with flexibility to travel to multiple clinics
Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one
Australian citizenship or permanent residency, or a New Zealand citizen, or a valid visa with work rights
Vaccine-preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B is required; other vaccinations may be required depending on location
