About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a brand new, highly regarded long day care service located in Melbourne's Northern suburbs.
The centre is continuing to strengthen its educational program and is seeking an experienced Room Leader to support and drive high-quality practice within their infant room.
As a Diploma or Bachelor qualified Room Leader, you will lead the planning and implementation of engaging, child-led learning experiences aligned with the EYLF & VEYLDF for a group of up to 22 children.
You will work collaboratively with two experienced educators to foster a warm, inclusive and stimulating environment that supports children's development and school readiness.

Located within a family-oriented residential area surrounded by parks and local schools, the centre prides itself on building strong relationships with families and maintaining high standards of compliance and curriculum delivery.

There is a strong focus on reflective practice, ongoing professional development and delivering meaningful, play-based learning experiences.

About You
You are a passionate early childhood professional who believes in delivering high-quality education from the earliest years.
You advocate for children's voices, understand the importance of intentional teaching, and are confident implementing the EYLF & VEYLDF within your daily planning and documentation.
You will ideally bring:
A Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood (ACECQA approved)
Current WWCC (Employee) and/or VIT registration (if applicable)
Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma certificates
Strong knowledge of the EYLF, VEYLDF and NQS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Valid working rights in Australia
1–2 years' experience leading a Kindergarten or Pre-Kinder room
Current Mandatory Reporting certification
