You will work alongside a vibrant, values-led team to support Trainees to grow in confidence, capability and independence, while building your own career within a purpose-driven organisation committed to meaningful outcomes.
Compass Institute is looking for compassionate and motivated Support Trainers to join our team.
In this role you will:
Support Trainees who are participating in Compass Day programs, both in groups or 1:1
Encourage independence, confidence, and skill development
Assist with personal care and daily support needs where required
Follow care plans and contribute to trainee goals
Complete progress notes and incident reporting
Help create engaging and meaningful learning experiences
We're looking for someone who:
Is patient, positive, and genuinely enjoys supporting others
Can build robust and respectful relationships
Is reliable, adaptable, and works well within a team
Feels confident supporting people with complex behaviours and support needs
Brings energy, empathy, and a willingness to learn
Position Requirements:
Cert III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent)
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working with Children Check (Blue card)
Driver's licence and reliable insured vehicle
Experience in the disability sector highly regarded
