Looking for a passionate, experienced ECT to join our small NFP service!
The Centre
We are a welcoming, community‐based not‐for‐profit early learning centre located in the beautiful bayside suburb of Brighton.
Our service prides itself on being a warm, inclusive "home away from home," with a strong focus on relationships, play‐based learning, and connection to our local community.
The Opportunity
In this role you will lead the integrated 3‐5‐year‐old kindergarten program, supporting up to 20 children in a well‐resourced learning setting.
You will be supported by a team of experienced educators and leadership, with generous planning time to deliver a high‐quality, play‐based program that reflects children's interests and learning needs.
The Candidate
To apply you will need:
Experience working as an early childhood educator in the kindergarten space or a similar role.
Bachelor's Degree in Early Years Education or an ACECQA‐approved equivalent, together with a provisional VIT.
In‐depth knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.
Excellent communication skills and a team‐focused philosophy.
A goal‐driven, forward‐thinking mindset.
Preferred qualifications




Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or an ACECQA‐approved equivalent.
VIT registration.
At least 2 years as an ECT in a 3‐4‐year‐old program.
Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
Mandatory Reporting Certificate.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Mentoring and training experience desirable.
