The Traralgon Bowls Club is seeking a driven and highly motivated
Bowls Head Coach
to lead and elevate our already successful high-performance bowls program into its next phase of development.
As one of regional Victoria's premier bowling clubs, Traralgon Bowls Club has built a solid reputation for competitive success, elite-standard facilities, and a commitment to excellence both on and off the green.
We are searching for a coach and leader who can:
Develop high-performing pennant players and teams
Foster emerging talent pathways
Drive a culture of professionalism, accountability, and success
Build strong engagement across all levels of the club
Continue positioning the club as a leader within Victorian bowls
Our Facilities
The club boasts some of the best bowling facilities in regional Victoria, including:
Two championship-quality grass greens
One fully enclosed world-class indoor synthetic green
The club currently fields:
Six Weekend Pennant sides
Approximately 200 affiliated bowling members
The Opportunity
This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced coach or elite-level player seeking to make a genuine impact within a progressive and ambitious club environment.




The successful applicant will:
Lead the strategic direction of the club coaching program
Deliver structured coaching and player development programs
Work closely with selectors and leadership groups
Assist with pennant preparation and team performance
Support recruitment and retention of players
Play a key role within the club's competitive culture
Compete within Weekend Pennant competition
About You
You will ideally possess:
Proven lawn bowls coaching and/or elite playing experience
Strong leadership and communication skills
A passion for mentoring and developing players
A professional and team-oriented approach
Minimum Level 1 Coaching Accreditation preferred
Remuneration
An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated based on experience, accreditation, and playing/coaching background.
