Centre Manager | Early Childhood | Parkdale
I am currently working with a privately owned early learning service is seeking a Centre Manager to lead their team within a small, relationship-focused centre environment.
Licensed for 40 places, the service operates with a close-knit team and focuses on creating a calm, engaging workplace for children and families.
The program incorporates child-led learning, natural world experiences, literacy, science, and creative learning opportunities across the curriculum.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone confident managing the day-to-day operations of a Centre while also supporting educators, building family relationships, and maintaining strong compliance standards.




This could be a 2IC / Assistant Centre manager looking to take a step up or an experienced Centre Director looking for a change.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing daily centre operations
Supporting programming and curriculum implementation across both rooms
Managing staff performance, mentoring, and team culture
Building strong relationships with families and leading centre tours
Managing compliance, licensing requirements, and centre systems including Xplor
Supporting occupancy growth and community engagement
Maintaining presentation standards across the centre
Supporting educators on the floor when required
About you:
Previous leadership experience within early childhood education
Strong understanding of compliance and centre operations
Confident managing staff and parent communication
Organised with strong attention to detail
Positive and proactive approach to leadership
