We are seeking a passionate and experienced Humanities Teacher for a fixed‐term full‐time opportunity commencing Term 3.

This role is suited to an educator confident teaching
Humanities (Years 7–10)
within a high‐performing independent all‐girls school environment in Brisbane's inner suburbs.

About the Role
Deliver engaging Humanities lessons across allocated year levels, fostering curiosity and critical thinking in subjects such as History, Geography, Civics, and related disciplines.
Plan, prepare, and assess learning programs in alignment with curriculum requirements and school policies, ensuring meaningful and differentiated learning experiences.




Contribute actively to a collaborative Humanities faculty, sharing resources, participating in curriculum development, and supporting whole‐department initiatives.
Build strong, positive relationships with students to support their academic progress, wellbeing, and engagement in Humanities learning.
Participate in broader school activities and responsibilities, including co‐curricular programs, pastoral care duties, and school community events.
About You
Experienced in teaching Humanities subjects across the secondary years, including History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship, or related disciplines.
Skilled in curriculum design and assessment practices within the Humanities learning area.
Able to build rapport with students and support positive learning outcomes through engaging, inclusive classroom practice.
Collaborative, reflective, and committed to contributing to a positive, team‐focused faculty culture.

Current QCT registration
