About the Role
n
Micron Agritech is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Technician to join our team,
n
supporting our growing customer base across Australia and New Zealand. As a QA
n
Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and
n
accuracy for our diagnostic tools and testing processes.
n
Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute directly
n
to our mission of revolutionising the animal health sector in this region. This role is based
n
in Australia, with occasional travel expected to support quality investigations and testing
n
activity across the territory.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Review and analyse results generated by our diagnostic platform, ensuring accuracy and consistency for customers across Australia and New Zealand
n
Conduct quality control tests to verify the performance and reliability of our diagnostic tools
n
Collaborate closely with the research and development team to identify and troubleshoot any issues or anomalies
n
Maintain detailed records of quality control tests and results
n
Participate in the development and improvement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality assurance
n
Contribute towards data annotation for the training of advanced AI models Skills and Experience Required
n
A bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field, such as biology, chemistry, or a related discipline
n
Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work
n
Excellent organisational and time management skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, startup environment
n
Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
Willingness to travel across Australia and New Zealand as required
n
Full driving licence
n

Desirable

Previous experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably in testing or diagnostics
n
Experience in parasitology or a related field
n
Familiarity with the Australian and Recent Zealand veterinary or agricultural sector
n
