Centre Manager / Centre Director
Location: Inner Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne | Full time | Salary: $100,000–$120,000 + benefits
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Centre Director to lead a fantastic, purpose built high‐quality early childhood service located in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs.
The Centre
The service is a modern, purpose-built early learning centre designed with children's growth, exploration and wellbeing in mind.
The team prides themselves on building strong, respectful relationships with families, educators and the wider community.
With the organisation entering an exciting growth phase, this role offers real scope to influence centre culture and grow into broader leadership over time.

About the Role
Overseeing the daily operations of a high-performing early learning service
Support, mentor, and inspire a close-knit team of educators
Build warm, professional relationships with families
Driving occupancy growth and centre performance
Ensuring compliance with National Regulations, NQS and EYLF (including Victorian frameworks)
Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards
Creating a warm, inclusive and engaging environment for children, families and staff
Working closely with the owner and leadership team during the transition into full responsibility
About You
Diploma or ACECQA approved equivalent in Early Childhood Education
2 years + experience as a Director or strong leadership experience
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A genuine passion for high‐quality early childhood education
Ability to lead with warmth, professionalism, and positivity
A track record of leading teams and supporting occupancy growth
Confidence across budgets, rostering, CCS and centre administration
Excellent communication, problem-solving and relationship-building skills
