anzuk Early Childhood is working in partnership with a well‐established, family‐owned early learning service located in regional Victoria.
This family and child‐focused centre has a stable and experienced team and is committed to providing high‐quality care, including nutritious meals and sustainable practices.
The Role
The service is seeking a cook responsible for the preparation and delivery of meals for up to 100 children per day.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and preparing nutritious, balanced meals
Managing kitchen operations and food safety requirements
Catering for dietary needs, allergies, and anaphylaxis requirements
Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Experience preparing meals in a childcare or similar setting (minimum 6 months preferred)
Knowledge of nutrition, allergy management, and anaphylaxis




Ability to communicate effectively with staff, families, and children
A reliable and skilled approach to work
Experience creating seasonal menus and managing ordering budgets
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Working with Children Check
Anaphylaxis Training
12 + Months Working Rights
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
