Senior Mathematics and Science Teacher
to join our dynamic Secondary School team on a
permanent, full-time basis

About the Role
This position involves teaching
Mathematics and Science across Years 7–12
, with the opportunity to deliver senior secondary courses (TASC or equivalent).
The successful candidate will contribute to a culture of academic excellence, innovation in pedagogy, and strong student-teacher relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and rigorous Mathematics and Science programs across Years 7–12
Teach senior secondary subjects (e.g., General/Methods Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, or Biology)
Use data-informed practices to improve student outcomes
Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
Contribute to curriculum development and co-curricular programs
Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives
About You
You are an enthusiastic educator who:
Holds full working rights in Australia
Holds relevant teaching qualifications and registration (or eligibility) in Tasmania
Has demonstrated experience teaching senior Mathematics and/or Science
Is committed to contemporary,



evidence-based teaching practices
Builds strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
Contributes positively to a collaborative and values-driven school culture
Is willing to engage in the broader life of the College
