plays a critical role in some of Australia's most complex and high-profile infrastructure projects, and we're now looking for a
Geotechnical Engineer
to join our growing team.
This is a excellent opportunity for an engineer with a solid grounding in site investigations and geotechnical analysis who's ready to take the next step and build depth across tunnelling and major infrastructure work.

Responsibilities
What you'll do
You'll be hands‐on across a diverse range of geotechnical and tunnelling projects, supporting delivery from early investigations through to construction.
Your work will include:
Planning and delivering geotechnical investigations, including site reconnaissance, fieldwork, sampling, logging and in-situ testing
Interpreting geotechnical data and contributing to design recommendations and risk assessments
Preparing technical reports and supporting design documentation for small to medium projects
Working closely with senior engineers and project managers on investigation scoping, methodologies and project delivery
Supporting proposals and tenders, including technical inputs and cost estimates
Collaborating within multidisciplinary teams and engaging directly with clients on technical queries and project updates
Providing guidance to technicians and junior team members in both field and office environments
You'll balance time between
site and office
, gaining exposure to a broad range of ground conditions, project types and clients.
Qualifications
About you
You're a motivated geotechnical engineer who enjoys solving real-world problems and working as part of a collaborative team.
You'll bring:
A
degree in Civil, Geotechnical or Geological Engineering
(or equivalent)
Around
2+ years' experience
in geotechnical engineering or a related discipline
Strong field experience, including soil logging, sampling and site investigations
Exposure to investigation techniques such as
CPTs, boreholes, test pits and in-situ testing
Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to interpret geotechnical data
Explicit written and verbal communication skills, with experience contributing to technical reports
A current Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required
