$89,080 – $99,256 p.a plus super (pro rata)
The opportunity:
Restacking the Odds is seeking to appoint an outstanding Research Assistant to contribute to a range of high-calibre research and translation activities across the project.
Restacking the Odds partners with services and communities across Australia, supporting them to better meet the needs of children and families.
Part of this work includes developing systems, tools, resources and opportunities for learning and skill development to increase their capacity for evidence-informed decision making.
What you'll do
Assisting with systematic review tasks (literature searches, screening, data extraction and verification, analysis and writing)
Contributing to research method development, qualitative and quantitative analyses, and publications
Translating research findings for various audience types (e.g., PowerPoint presentations, Reports, 1-page summaries, oral presentations)
Maintaining timelines, including being aware of risks to timelines and raising them early with the team
What you'll bring
Degree (preferably Honours) in Psychology, Health Science or related discipline, or or equivalent experience
Experience collecting, processing and analysing data including ethics applications, method development, tool development and/or academic writing
Excellent time management, organisational, and analytical problem-solving skills
Solid verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information clearly
Experience supporting research implementation, training delivery and/or workforce development initiatives
