genU is looking for Casual Support Workers who can team up with our customers to help them unleash their full potential.
You will be making a real impact by helping people with disabilities through accommodation and community engagement.
Please apply if you:
Have availability 2-3 weekdays per week (excluding weekends)
Willing to work 2 - 5 hour shifts
Can do early starts and late finishes
What you'll do
Support person-centred plans that identify a customer's life goals and working to achieve them
Join customers in the community and do recreational activities, willing to drive vans and take customers swimming advantageous
Support customers in daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, showering and toileting, medication administration and attending appointments
Ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed; and
Administration duties and mandatory reporting
What you'll bring
Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
Able to work Overnight Sleep Shifts (advantageous)
Personal experience or willingness to assist with personal care and domestic duties experience
Extensive experience in supporting customers with behavioural support plans (desirable)
Extensive experience working with challenging behaviours (desirable)
Ability to follow Person Centred plans and assist people to achieve their goals and outcomes
An understanding and enthusiasm for working alongside people with disabilities




A valid drivers licence and willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with genU motor vehicle allowance rebate).
Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or Higher [CHC*****,CHC*****,CHC*****,CHC*****]
