An exciting opportunity has become available for a caring and enthusiastic
ELC Lunch Assistant
to join the Early Learning Centre of a highly regarded independent school.
Working with the
3–4-year-old kinder program
, you'll play an important role in supporting children during the lunchtime routine, ensuring they feel safe, supported and engaged while educators take their lunch breaks.
About the Role Commencing

, this ongoing position is perfect for someone looking for school-friendly hours in a collaborative and welcoming environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising children during the lunchtime period.
Assisting with lunch set-up and pack-down/clean-up.
Supporting children's bathroom routines.
Helping maintain a safe, nurturing and engaging environment.
Working collaboratively with teachers and educators to support children's wellbeing.
Hours
Monday: 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Tuesday: 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Friday: 12:00 pm – 2:00
This is a collaborative team that values quality education, child wellbeing and supporting one another.
About You.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Experience working with children aged 3–4 years.
A warm, outgoing and nurturing approach.
Flexibility and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will also hold (or be willing to obtain):
Current Working with Children Check.
Current Police Check.
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
Salary & Benefits
Annual salary of based on a full-time equivalent salary of approximately
$55,000
