Bring your expertise to this unique role in the based in the East Kimberley.
Hospital based GP role focused on Chronic Disease 8am - 5pm Mon-Fri only Minimum of 2-week locum blocks Conditions: You will be the sole-chronic disease specialist supplying ward services to Fitzroy Crossing hospital.
Completing a ward round and patient discussion with the handover nurse and the ED SMOs.
The outpatient ward manages patients with complex chronic conditions (diabetes, chronic kidney disease, ischaemic heart disease, rheumatic heart disease, etc.) so previous cultural awareness experience is essential.
There is 24/7 support but you will not be required afterhours or over weekends.
Travel is via Broome then by air or car to Fitzroy Crossing.




All travel provisions including a 4x4 car is provided and you must be able to cover a 2-week block if travelling from outside WA.
This region offers a powerful blend of natural beauty, culture, and outback adventure.
Set on the Fitzroy River at the gateway to the Kimberley, it's the perfect base to explore dramatic landscapes like Geikie Gorge (Danggu National Park), with its towering limestone cliffs and river cruises.
Credentials: FRACGP or FACRRM, Specialist AHPRA registration, previous chronic disease and/or AMS experience required.
WACHS credentialing.
