The Role
Benetas is seeking an experienced
Workforce Development Lead
to join our People, Culture and Diversity team on a full time 12-month contract. You will lead a small team of two, with the Talent Management team and bring together learning and development, workforce planning, people systems, workforce insights and organisational capability to deliver high quality, person centred, and evidence-informed solutions that make a difference.
Design, develop and deliver learning, capability and organisational development solutions and initiatives that support workforce readiness, employee development and high performance
Embed Benetas' Capability Framework and associated learning solutions
Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, deliverables and communication and engagement plans
Identify capability gaps and develop talent pipelines and employment pathways to support workforce continuity and organisational resilience
Lead employee lifecycle listening and people-system practices to enhance employee experience, efficiency, compliance and workforce data, including WGEA reporting
Oversee the preparation of workforce and capability reports and translate workforce data and employee insights into practical advice and recommendations for leaders
Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of learning and organisational development solutions




Build effective partnerships with internal and external learning providers, vendors and other stakeholders
Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders at all levels to achieve successful outcomes
About You
Tertiary qualifications in human resources, business, organisational psychology or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
Demonstrated experience in learning and development, workforce development, organisational development, capability building or organisational culture initiatives
Experience working in a complex, dispersed or multi-site organisation
Experience leading and developing a team, with the ability to coach and support direct reports to deliver quality outcomes
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks and stakeholder engagement
Experience designing learning content and solutions using contemporary approaches, including blended learning, flipped classroom and experiential methods.
Experience using data to identify trends, develop insights, measure effectiveness and inform strategic recommendations, including strong skills in Excell
Strong consultation, influencing and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to navigate challenging conversations with diplomacy and tact, and facilitate workshops
Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools, such as Articulate, will be highly regarded
